The D3vil Designs "Cyclops" extruder was specifically engineered to address issues associated with the stock Creality K1 / K1 Max extruder. Not only is the Cyclops a seamless direct drop-in upgrade, but it also draws on proven technology from the Orbiter 2 project. And now with DLC Hardened Gears! This integration enables the Cyclops to inherit superior functionality and performance improvements, including but not limited to:
Retraction speeds up to 120 mm/sAcceleration up to 3000 mm/s^2
A powerful LDO Motor
Large precise drive wheels for increased filament grip

We will fully assemble the extruder for $13. The kit comes with heated inserts, If you purchase the assembled extruder you do not need to pay for printed parts heated insert installation, only the printed parts. :)

Had a few hiccups on my end. Nothing wrong with the extruder but PeedDee3D reached out to help me work through it. One thing to note is that you will not need to add an “!” At “dir_pin: nozzle_mcu: PB0” even though the v1.5 install instructions state you should. Motor spun opposite of the commands with the “!” Added to the cfg file.
Fantastic guy and awesome extruder! Cant wait for my linear rail kit.
