Provok3D Coming to the Pee Dee and Other Updates...

Hey Printerheads,

Between Father's Day and a minor baby illness, it's been a hot minute, but we hope you're staying cool. In between these events, things have still been in motion in the Pee Dee and we have some updates for you.

First, a quick note on the Linear Rail Gantry Kit, then an introduction to NEW products coming to our shop, and at the end – a small survey about our MONSTER motors for our readers.

LRGK UPDATE

First off, we would like to thank everyone for their patience on the Linear Rail Gantry Kit preorders. We apologize for the delay in shipping as we had a small vacation planned months ago to celebrate our first Father's Day that was then trailed by a minor baby illness (thankfully she's back to 100 percent!). But now we're back to business.

The response to this kit has been phenomenal and more than we had anticipated. We again thank you for your patience as we get these kits out our door. In the shop, we've placed a temporary hold on future LRGK orders to allow us time to work on current preorders and prepare to open up the listing for regular orders. If you have your own motors, we are still offering the linear rails and the hardware kits for purchase separately.

International customers – in order to ship the LRGK, we need your phone number! Please look out for an email from PD3Dmfg@gmail.com to see if we've sent you a message.

This week, we will be tackling the next round of shipping. So stay tuned. That's all we have on the LRGK, but let us know if you have any questions about your order.

NEW PRODUCTS

At the PeeDee3D headquarters, we are always looking at how we can grow: what are the ext best products to bring to our storefront and how we can better serve our 3D printing community.

We are pleased to announce that we have four new products coming soon! We believe these products will tie in nicely to your current or future printer modifications. Recently, PeeDee3D partnered with Provok3D and you will be able to find those products on our website soon. Keep an eye out for those updates! Additionally, we have a new exclusive kit from the D3vil Design community for those Cyclops fans. Without further adieu, let's get this showcase started!

Nanoflow Nozzles
Improve your printer flow rate with the NEW Nanoflow nozzles that are nano-coated tungsten carbide nozzles. This nano-coating allows for ultra high flow. So far it is testing better than CHT nozzles. We will offer this .5mm nozzle in V6 and MK8 variances. With a hardness (HRA) greater than 90, these nozzles are will outlast your printer! This Brumbpo tungus design will help you get those fresh layers on your prints!

Here's some notes straight from the source
  • Advanced Geometric Design: The NanoFlow™ Nozzle is engineered with a unique internal geometry that optimizes the flow of melted filament. This design significantly minimizes back pressure, in turn reducing required extrusion force, ensuring smoother, more reliable extrusion and reducing the risk of clogs or jams.
  • Enhanced Heat Transfer: Our nozzle doesn’t just excel at reducing back pressure; it’s also a champion of heat transfer. The special geometry facilitates better heat transfer within the melt zone. This means the filament reaches its ideal viscosity more evenly and maintains it throughout the printing process.
  • Nano Coating Technology: The NanoFlow™ Nozzle is treated with a cutting-edge nano coating rated to thrive in temperatures up to 1000°C (MAX). This robust coating is highly abrasion and corrosion resistant, boasting a hardness from 3200 to 3400 HV. Its also reducing the likelihood of filament sticking to the nozzle. This is especially beneficial when working with high-temperature materials.

Therm^2 Board by not salmon man
Next up, we are bringing the Therm^2 Board by not salmon man from Provok3D. This motherboard has 9 thermistor slots, with 4 slots being PT1000 compatible. This board will be great with those Kraken motors. This board is a great choice because someone could easily add on new or additional thermistor ports.

Grip Tec+ Bed Adhesive
Have you wondered how to guarantee your prints stay on your print bed? Stick your prints to the bed with the new Grip Tec+ Bed Adhesive! This all-in-one glue is perfect for 3D printing. This glue is the perfect choice for helping your prints stick to the build plate. Easy to use! Just clean amd prepare your build plate with water/soap, windex, then alcohol. Apply our Grip Tec+ to the bed’s surface. Print your part, follow the directions for removal, and then voila! Your print will come off easily.

D3vil Design x Triangle Lab Cyclops DLC Gears Extruder Kit
Lastly, a new product we will be offering is another from the D3vil Design community and Triangle Lab – the Cyclops DLC Gears Extruder Kit. This kit includes a new gear set that is machined from tool steel and has an overall hardness greater than HRC60. The surface treatment is DLC coating, and the hardness of the coating is HC20000-24000. This is a great option for printing abrasive filaments.

That's all for new products coming soon! If you've made it this far, we now have a question for you!

What Kraken motor variance would you like to see? Do y'all want to see 8mm shafts? 80mm shaft lengths? Full rod shafts? Let us know in the comments or shoot us a message with your feedback!

Happy Printing Y'all,

PeeDee3D
